“Remember Me” is a community-centered art installation and reporting project that honors the lives of victims of unsolved homicides in St. Louis.
The work features six original portraits by local artist Cbabi Bayoc, inspired by a years-long investigation by St. Louis Public Radio, APM Reports and The Marshall Project into the more than 1,000 unsolved homicides in the city over the last decade.
Bayoc’s vivid illustrations depict each person as their families remember them: full of life, love and possibility.
The portraits will be on view in STL.org's CURIOSITY Building from Monday, Aug. 11, 2025, until Friday, Sept. 12, 2025. Please contact Vanessa Rudloff at vanessa@stl.org to arrange a viewing.
Note: If your family has experienced this kind of loss, we invite you to bring a small photo of your loved one to the viewing. We have set up a collection box will display photos and notes in a living memorial at a future event.
Thank you to STL.org for hosting these portraits at The CURIOSITY Building.
